We believe weddings should feel like you

Our mission is to create authentic, design-led wedding experiences that feel effortless, personal, and deeply meaningful.

We’re Two Bad Apples

We believe the best weddings don’t follow rules, they follow feeling.

We’re here for the couples who want something real. Something refined. Something that reflects who they are without compromise.

Through intentional design, honest collaboration, and a touch of creative rebellion, we transform ideas into elevated, deeply personal celebrations.

As Creative Directors, we bring together artistry, problem-solving, and a deep understanding of our clients’ vision.

We’re known for our calm approach, honest communication, and ability to transform ideas into something tangible, cohesive, and unforgettable.

Where Our Name Came From

It’s the question we get asked most often — why Two Bad Apples?

The truth is, the name reflects exactly who we are.

We’ve always been drawn to doing things differently. Not following trends for the sake of tradition, not fitting into the expected mould, and never believing weddings should feel staged, overly formal, or impersonal.

Two Bad Apples was born from our desire to challenge the conventional wedding experience and create something more authentic, creative, and deeply personal.

We believe your wedding should feel like you, not like a package pulled from a catalogue.

We don’t just curate beautiful weddings, we create meaningful experiences with heart, personality, and intention behind every detail.

From the beginning, our vision has been to become more than just planners or stylists. We are your support system, your creative directors, your problem-solvers, and the people standing firmly in your corner throughout the entire journey.

We’ll handle the pressure, navigate the chaos, and bring your vision to life with honesty, creativity, and care.

Because at the end of the day, your wedding matters to us just as much as it matters to you.

Discover Our Story

Two Bad Apples was born from a turning point.

After years in high-pressure corporate roles, we found ourselves burnt out, disconnected, and craving something more meaningful. What started as exhaustion quickly became clarity, we didn’t just want a change, we wanted to create a life immersed in beauty, creativity, and purpose.

With backgrounds spanning floristry, event design, and business development, we took the leap. Two Bad Apples became not just a business, but a return to what we love most, bringing ideas to life and creating unforgettable experiences for others.

Your vision. Your story. Brought to life, seamlessly.

Meet Jodie

Co-Founder & Creative Director

Jodie’s love for floral design began long before it became her profession.

Growing up surrounded by orchids and award-winning blooms cultivated by her mother, creativity was always part of her world. She later pursued formal training in floristry, refining her craft and developing the signature style she brings to every design today.

Beyond florals, Jodie’s creative skillset extends into wedding cakes, desserts, and full-scale event design allowing her to approach each wedding with a uniquely holistic vision.

Before Two Bad Apples, Jodie spent years in the medical field, working in a demanding, high-pressure environment. While rewarding, it pulled her away from her creative roots, until she made the decision to return to what truly lit her up.

Today, Jodie brings artistry, precision, and a deeply personal touch to every wedding she creates.

Meet Shellee

Co-Founder & Creative Director

Shellee’s strength lies in turning vision into seamless, beautifully executed experiences.

With extensive experience coordinating large-scale and luxury events, some hosting hundreds of guests, she brings both structure and creativity to every celebration.

After meeting Jodie in 2015 while working in the same corporate environment, a strong friendship and creative partnership naturally formed. Years later, following personal loss, Shellee felt a shift in perspective, it was time to stop working for someone else’s vision and start building a life centred around meaning, passion, and connection.

Two Bad Apples became that turning point.

Shellee is known for her calm presence, attention to detail, and ability to make even the most complex events feel effortless.

Our Approach

At Two Bad Apples, we understand that your wedding is one of the most important days of your life—and it deserves more than a standard, one-size-fits-all approach.

From your very first consultation, we create a relaxed and welcoming space where ideas flow freely and your vision begins to take shape. Our role is to remove the overwhelm, guide you through the process, and design an experience that feels entirely your own.

We specialise in:

  • Bespoke floral design (bouquets, installations, tablescapes)

  • Full wedding styling and concept creation

  • Wedding cakes and dessert experiences

  • Grazing and catering elements

  • End-to-end wedding packages tailored to you

Whether you’re planning an elegant celebration at Caversham House or a relaxed, rustic wedding at Core Cider, we design every detail to reflect your story.

No templates. No passing you between multiple vendors.

Just a fully considered, beautifully executed experience, designed with you, and brought to life by us.

Because your wedding shouldn’t feel like a checklist.

It should feel like a moment you never want to leave.
